Eating peaches

Stella loves her fruit!! Such a good girl! I bought some peaches the other day and I was going to cut one up after her nap and let her eat it...and she grabbed the whole thing and started to eat it whole!! It was hilarious!! She sat there on the counter and ate the ENTIRE THING!! I almost died!! It was a hot mess...but she loved it! I guess peaches are better than her eating an entire cake or candy bar whole...like her mom would!! :)

Cowboy boots!!!!

My mom's friend went to Jackson Hole and got Stella these light up cowboy boots that she loves soooo much!! They light up when she steps....so she dances around and thinks that is about the coolest thing ever! They are actually really really cute! I got some pics and a video...so enjoy!

Playdate in Red River

Next door to our house in Red River lives a super cute little girl that is just a few weeks younger than Stella! My parents went up there a few times when I was pregnant and when Stella was a baby and we have been so excited to get Stella and Lindsay together! They were so cute together and they will be able to grow up together! They had cleared a spot in their backyard for Lindsay and put some swings up, they had a super cute sand box and lots of toys! Stella loved playing with Lindsay and I am super excited that she lives right next door!

Playing in the Big Ole Mountains

One of the few things I wanted to do while in Red River was to take some cute pictures of Stella in the tall grass and flowers!! My dad found a great camp ground down the street that had no one in it and it was perfect!! I got some really cute pictures. Stella was a little scared of the stream that was near the camp ground, but she loved running around! While we were there a woman came and restocked the fish in the stream and Stella loved seeing the fish swim! Super cute day!

Belly Button

Stella's new favorite thing is belly buttons!! She loves to show everyone hers, and much to my dismay, find other peoples (including mine). But today in the pool was very funny when she could not find it!! She was looking all around and finally realized how she could see it!! I got a video...too cute.

Swimming in Red River!

My parents got Stella a precious little blow up pool and put it out on the porch for Stella to play in! It is really sad to think of it now in the 100 degree plus heat, but the only time it was warm enough for her to play in it was right before and right after dinner. She loved it soooo much!! We put some cups in there (well until she started to drink the water and we poked holes in the bottom) and some of her bath toys and she went to town! She had so much fun!

Playing in Red River

There is not a lot to do in the summer time in Red River...but when we found a playground we stopped!! We got a few cute pics...one of which is a super cute day when my dad got on a see saw with Stella! She thought it was hilarious!! It made for some really cute pictures too!!

Making my mark on Red River!!

When I was Stella's age I came to Red River for the first time and I put my hands and feet in the cement foundation of the house...so of course Stella needed her own mark right next to mine! So my dad made a little frame of concrete for Stella to leave her mark! Of course she did not like getting so dirty, but at least we got it done!!

Walking with Papa!!

One of my favorite things to do in Red River was to walk outside with my Papa! I loved picking up and throwing rocks and just running!! The weather was soooo nice and I loved being outside!! I had so much fun with my Papa!

Waking up in Red River

So I broke out Stella's footy pajamas and we were ready for the AWESOME weather in Red River!! At night and in the morning it was in the 50s and amazing!! Stella was not quite sure what to think of all of this!! She loved being out of the big front porch and rocking in the rocking chairs! My dad got up there a day early and put up netting on the porch so she would not try and climb down! Super cute girl...

Off to Red River!!

So Stella and I headed off to Red River, NM with my parents for the week to escape the heat!! We had to much fun! Stella did so good on the plane ride! When we got to the airport, there was a great play yard right next to our gate that I think wore her out!! She played, got on the plane, ate her lunch and fell right asleep!! Here are some pictures of that!

Finger Painting at Ella's!!

We had a super fun playdate at Ella's house where we had a finger painting party!! We stripped them down to their diapers and let them go wild! Stella of course did not want to get too dirty and did not get too into it....but it still was super fun and super cute!! We had a blast!

Cowboy Hat Pictures!

At our cabin in Red River we have pictures up on the mantle of all of us with cowboy hats and outfits on...so I had to add Stella to the mix when we got up there! So here are some of the cute pictures I took to put on the mantle, she was being such a ham!!

New Pool!!

We got Stella a super cool blow up pool for the backyard and she loves it!! It hooks into the hose and sprays all over the place! She gets a little upset when it sprays in right in her face...but all in all she loves it!! She also has a new sand and water table to play with out there...given that it is a million degrees outside...but we get to go out sometimes and it is a blast!! Also...from the video you can tell Stella's new favorite word is WOW!!! Pretty cute
