Stella's First Birthday Take VIII....the end!!

We had a great birthday party!! Stella fell asleep in Meghan's hand on the way home (Meghan felt bad that her head kept falling forward in the seat...so she put her hand there!) and she was out for almost three hours!! We woke her up with new toys and she had her favorite dinner of mac and cheese, had a great bath and slept all night long!! We had a great time and Thanks so everyone!!!

Well our guests had arrived and it was time to party!! We had around 40 people...and about 15 kiddos! So we had a great time!! Lots of food and fun!! I even had my first kiss from my boyfriend John!! What a great birthday!!

So once we got to Mimi and Papa's it was time to get ready to party!!

While Stella was having lunch Meghan took some pictures of the amazing cake and decorations. Rashid's mom not only made the most amazing cake ever....but made a miniature of it for Stella to eat, and little cakes for all of the kiddos at the party!! It was the best...here are some shots of the amazing cake!!

Stella's First Birthday!!! Take I

OK...so since I took over 200 pictures myself and Meghan (my best friend from college) took like 400....I am going to break the day down into a few posts!!

The morning of Stella's birthday we woke her up singing her Happy Birthday and she knew something was up!! We took her in the living room and Rashid and I gave her the two of the gifts we got her (a stuffed monkey and red headed doll) and Meghan gave her the precious baby doll that came with a stroller, bottle, change of clothes, sippy cup and everything!! Stella really thought that the sippy cup and bottle were for her and she tried to drink them both!! So funny. As usual she loved the tissue paper more than anything!!

Then we got in the car and headed to the party...in our pajamas and all!!

Eating Strawberries!!

Stella's new favorite thing to do is to eat whole strawberries!! She makes a mess....but she eats the whole thing!! We were getting a kick out of it the first time and of course took pictures!!

Birthday Pictures

We had another portrait session to take Stella's 1st birthday pictures!! I just got back the real thing and it is sooooo cute! We put her in her birthday outfit and went to the park. It was so cold and wet...but I think it was great lighting and made for an amazing picture!! Here are some I took....

New Years Eve

OK...I know I have not updated since Christmas....I have been horrible! So I am only putting up a couple and then birthday pictures!!

For New Years Eve we stayed at home and cooked steaks....we were trying to get Stella to finally sleep through the night...and after 5 nights of no sleep...it worked! Thanks to Mary Jane and Ashlee and their sage advice!!
