We went on a super fun carriage ride to look at Christmas Lights and had so much fun! It was pretty cold outside so we bundled up with blankets and hats and let our horses Bonnie and Clyde take us around HP to look at the lights. Stella loved to sing her Christmas carols to everyone and look at all of the fun lights! Such a fun time!!

A Little Christmas Baking
Today we decided to do a little Christmas baking...first we made a yummy gingerbread house. I tried to make most of it because it took some patience waiting for it to dry. But Stella did all of the decorating with candy...and I think it turned out so cute! Then we made some Christmas cookies....Santa needs something!! I bought store bought rolled cookie dough (don't judge) and then let Stella use the cookie cutters and then decorate. They are super cute and super yummy!! Good times today:)

Stella's First School Program
I know it is super cheesy but yes Stella had her first school program for Christmas. It looks a little like herding cats in the video. Even though I was sitting right in front of her she is not singing and just saying "where is my mommy" but it is still cute. Sorry about all of the camera movement too I was trying to get her attention....did not work too well as you can see. She also got to have a personal one on one meeting with Santa afterwards! We were really just walking out and there was Santa about to go and see all of the kids...so that ended up being super fun!!

Three Years Running:)
For the past three years we have been having our playgroup Halloween party and for three years we have taken the cutest pictures of the kiddos. We line them up in the same order and hope that they sit still long enough for us to get a good one. The first year they were babies so it was super easy to keep them in one place, last year was a hard one because they all were walking and wanted to run away and this year....they were all just trying to sit still because we bribed them with cupcakes...hence the annoyed look on at least Stella's face!! Ha Ha...but still...super cute. (Not sure why we had the random gap in the middle....maybe we were saving a place for Ella if she
decided to come back from Maryland)
Stella's Halloween Party
Making Halloween Cookies:)
We have been having a lot of rain recently so we have been doing a lot of indoor activities recently...and it seems like every indoor activity I think of requires us making food...not the best for my waist line but Stella loves it! We made some cute Charlie Brown Pumpkin cookies right before Halloween and they ended up being super cute! Stella loved decorating them....and she got most of the face shapes right which I was super proud of:)

SMU Homecoming

SMU had their Homecoming a couple weeks ago and Stella and I decided to try out the tailgate and see what all of the fuss was about. I have not been back to the Boulevard for a tailgate since college and it sure has changed a lot!! Jack Ingram was playing at Dallas Hall so we went and listened to him a little bit by the DG tent and then walked down to see a couple friends and have lunch at the alumni tent. We left right in time before it started crazy raining...but it was lots of fun! Stella loved wearing her SMU cheerleading uniform and even got to meet a real SMU Cheerleader!! She left the pony on her face for days until if finally came off in the bath tub. I think we will have to go back soon!!
