SMU Homecoming

SMU had their Homecoming a couple weeks ago and Stella and I decided to try out the tailgate and see what all of the fuss was about. I have not been back to the Boulevard for a tailgate since college and it sure has changed a lot!! Jack Ingram was playing at Dallas Hall so we went and listened to him a little bit by the DG tent and then walked down to see a couple friends and have lunch at the alumni tent. We left right in time before it started crazy raining...but it was lots of fun! Stella loved wearing her SMU cheerleading uniform and even got to meet a real SMU Cheerleader!! She left the pony on her face for days until if finally came off in the bath tub. I think we will have to go back soon!!

State Fair!!

Another year and another visit to the State Fair!!! It is my absolute favorite for sure!! First we came in and went straight to play some games! Stella's first game was the horse race and she won a huge monkey! We were the only four people playing so it was not too hard for her to win....but she loved rolling the ball! Then she went and played the duck game and won a cute orange doggy:) Then we were off to the rides!! I thought she was going to get to ride a few more....but they were all a little faster and scarier than I was ready for! So she rode a cute dolphin ride with her Papa and then a little train ride with me. She loved both of them! Finally she got to do a fishing game and won a really cute turtle:) She was a happy girl. Then we walked over to the precious Little Hands Farm and Stella got to walk through and plant peaches, feed chickens (not real ones), milk a cow, plant seeds and fleece a sheep! Then she turned in all of her goodies in and got some cookies as a reward! Too cute:) Finally it was corny dog time!! She loved it and almost ate the whole thing! After lunch we were off to the Children's Aquarium were Stella loved the albino alligators and she got to feed and pet some sting rays!! Too much fun:) Finally we were off to the butterfly sanctuary where Papa carried her through and let her pet some butterflies! It was super humid in there but I think Stella loved the butterflies:) All in all it was a great trip to the fair! Super fun!!

Playing bed time with baby:)

I guess Stella has finally got to the point where she is obsessed with her dolls....she carries this baby all over the place....we set a place for her at dinner, make her a plate of food, put clothes on her and of course put her to bed. Stella decided it was nap time for her baby so she put some of her pajamas on the baby and put her to bed....then she read her a bed time story. It was super cute:)

Fun at the park with John

We went to the park with John after dance class last week and Stella loved running around. The weather has been so great and it is so nice to be able to play outside again! Stella loved running around in her tutu at the park and has really no fear at all. She would climb all the way to the top of the climbing rocks and then she kept saying she wanted to jump off herself!! I of course would not let her...but I think she would have for sure! Crazy girl:)

Forever Friends....

It did not occur to me how long Stella and John have been best friends since I saw these pictures!! It is crazy....they really should ask Mary Jane and I for this pictures for an advertisement or something!! They are too cute. But after I took this picture of Stella and John I was like...I think I have a picture of them when they could not even sit up yet against these mats!! I found it!! I cannot believe how little they are...does not seem like they were ever that small!! I have to say that Mary Jane and I look the exact same:) Ha Ha:) (I don't know why that other one is not the right way...but John's face was too cute...I could not delete it!

Kate's Third Birthday Party!!

A few weeks ago (sorry I am so behind!!) Kate came in for her third birthday party!! It was super exciting because Kate has moved to Austin and we have missed her and her sweet family so much!! It was also the first SMU home game so Stella had to show a little Pony Pride with her new SMU Cheerleading uniform she wore all day that day:) Stella loved seeing her and of course playing at the little gym:)...as usual.

First Nail Appointment!!

Well when my mom went out of town I went and took Stella to get her first pedicure!! My mom just about had a heart attack when I sent her the pictures but Stella loved it! She sat still (which is amazing!!) and she was very interested in what was going on. She just stared at the lady doing her nails and she loved it! She has been begging me to take her back....I think I created a monster!!
